My go: I really enjoyed the whole evening, even though I didn't understand
most of what was said in Dutch. Thumbs-up for Dan Rhodes's ironic
love stories, some wicked Flemish's erotic bike tale, the ultracool
short film about anal sex and David Eugenides's story.
As
for Tom, I thought Saint-Amour would be Nachten-like (short literature
performances, then concerts), which it wasn't. I expected a full
set, so I was disappointed, but it doens't really matter - I didn't
know that a "literature" festival could be so entertaining.
