REVIEW
BY JUDIT JURANITS
hello
everybody,
OHMYGOD!
who can ever say they are boring/bored of playing after seeing the
Prague gig? I must say it was the best concert I have ever seen.
the guys were high-spirited, lovely, energetic, in great mood, enjoying
themselves. The setlist is at the back of this letter as you can
see its not anything special - its basically the same that they
have been playing all this tour. I actually requsted Right As Rain
in Prague for Munich from both Tom and Klaas - Tom seemed to be
more open but he said they havent played it for a long time so he
didnt promise. so much for changing the seltist.
BUT:
just imagine a 300 capacity venue with absolutely no security, very
small bar. the audience was great. We were great! :)

some
bits of the show:
Danny
shared his beer with the 3 of us after someone asked for more water.
Tom was lying on the floor for half of one of the songs.
Tim was crazy as usual as well as Klaas dancing. For the enchore
Klaas came back first and threw his shows into the dressing room
to get the others out.
They planned to play only 2 enchores but ended up with 4 including
Serpentine that Tom fucked up first and we all laughed with the
band. He couldnt find the right accord so when he got it finally
we all applauded. the song went on beautifully. that pause in the
middle is just perfect. a band that can create perfect pauses :)

they
made me fall in love with the new album for the second time. Those
songs are so great live! Magic Hour cant get out of my ears, my
blood.
My absolute fave of the night was Roses. They changed WCS a lot.
it
was all so unbeievable, you wouldnt think that they get that response
in Prague and they seemed to be so happy when we shook hands with
them thanking for the brilliant show. Tom was moved when he got
to know we came that far to see them. they were all very nice, Tom
was sitting on the stairs of the bar for 2 hours talking to people,
drinking. I asked him about their plans and he said first they are
gonna take a break, than they will record a new album then start
touring again - but I guess its no news to you. But for me it meant
so much when he said he certainly wants to get back to Budapest
to some small club :):):) He loves my city and that brings a HUGE
smile to my face!
