REVIEW
BY LAUREN TVERSKY
Hey
all -
WOW!
Last night's show was REALLY great. This is the second time I have
seen them (first time was a few weeks ago at Mercury Lounge) and
this was MUCH better. Comparatively speaking, they were really together
this time, vocals were better and most of all they seemed to be
having much more fun.
Set
list sounded much like the San Francisco show, they started with
Suds & Soda and closed with Hotel Lounge, the rest was from
"In a Bar" And one new song and one song I didn't know,
maybe it also was new. The place was even smaller than Mercury Lounge
and I was only a few feet from the stage and could see everyone
really well except this big pole kept me from being able to watch
the amazing violin/keyboard playing on the other side :(
WORST
part about the night was I never hooked up with Jennifer. The place,
although small, was really packed. I got there after both opening
bands were over, so not much time to look around. Jennifer, if you
are still in NY when you are reading this, send me a personal e-mail
and we can try to hook up before you go back.
